Geb-Nuit was first established solely as a higher-grade-conferring temple, on the Summer Solstice of 2023. By the Vernal Equinox of 2026, Geb-Nuit had received its warrant to also operate the grades of the First Order.

 

Located on the island of Malta, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, Geb-Nuit is currently the only body of the Order of the Golden Dawn (OGD) fully operational on the European continent.

 

The deities Geb and Nuit were chosen as reflecting the interaction of the elements in this arid Mediterranean region, and as an emphasis on the energy dynamics of the polarity of the Pillars and the currents of Astral Light in our work.

 

Geb-Nuit, as a Temple, confers all initiations from Neophyte to Philosophus, the grades of the First Order, and, as a College, initiation into the Portal, the threshold grade of the Second, or Inner, Order.

 

In addition to initiations, full instruction, workshops, training and mentorship in all the theoretical and practical teachings of the Order are offered by qualified Mystagogues of the Order.

 

Geb-Nuit is also proud to count among its ranks fully ordained members of the Clergy of Ecclesia Aurorae, the ecclesiastical arm of the Order of the Golden Dawn. The College will therefore regularly host celebrations of the Eucharistic Mass, the central ceremony of the Ecclesia and the official public Ritual of the Order of the Golden Dawn. These celebrations are open to all members of the Order and, by invitation only, to non-members.

 

Our premises in the north of Malta are a standalone location, fully equipped to operate all grades of the Order and to confer all sacraments and ordinations of our Ecclesia.

 

Membership dues for the College are €20 per month, in addition to the international dues of OGD. Each initiation also incurs a one-time initiation fee, covering the cost of regalia, printed materials and other items required.

 

The focus of Geb-Nuit is to deliver the Golden Dawn tradition, as manifested through OGD, as faithfully, as devoutly and as pedagogically effectively as possible: to assist all its members in communing with their own Divine Genius, exalting their spiritual natures, and at length in attaining the Hidden Stone.
